A worker died Dec. 20 in an accident at a business near Gainesville, Ga., following an explosion, according to the Gainesville Times. The accident happened as a result of a malfunctioning piece of equipment used to clean filters at MyCelx Technologies Corp., the newspaper reported.

A Gainesville fire official told the newspaper that a chemical solution created the explosion. He said it was similar to a gas build up on a grill that burst into flames when it is lit.

The worker’s name was not immediately released, pending notification of relatives. The man is from India and his relatives had not been notified, according to accessnorthga.com.

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was investigating the accident. MyCelx is described as a clean waters technology company on its website.

The spouse or dependent children are entitled to compensation if a worker is killed in a workplace accident, according to Georgia workers’ compensation laws. Atlanta personal injury lawyer Gary Martin Hays said a thorough investigation of the accident may be able to determine if the accident involves third party liability.

“If a piece of equipment malfunctioned due to a defect created by someone other than the employer, that third party should be held accountable,” Hays said. “An experienced personal injury attorney can assist in determining any potential negligence by a third party. My thoughts and prayers go out to the victim’s family in this tragic workplace accident.”

God Bless Him. Did he pay the same price that anyone in the military pays? Did his taxes pay for the military?

Will his obituary be read on the TV as another death in the fight for freedom and democracy? No it won't be, because it adds nothing to the propaganda and brainwashing of the American Simpletons.

Yep, he paid the price ....He's another death sacrificed on the Right to Work alter. But then a shot at the military instead of the Right to Work laws is easier.

What does that even mean?? What IS a "clean waters technology" for crying out loud? For all we know it could be a company that manufactures chemicals used in swimming pools. JEEZE and stuff!
